ART IS A HERITAGE OF THE FUTURE
Welcome.
My name is Ladda. I'm Thai, and for more than twenty years I have been travelling through Southeast Asia in search of ethnic and spiritual art.
My collection brings together pieces from Thai-Siamese, Shan, Karen, Khmer, Chinese, Hindu and other regional cultures. All of them celebrate the exceptional craftsmanship of Asian artisans.
Whether ancient or contemporary, these works carry within them subtle details, a dense history and a timeless philosophy.
For me, art is not only a heritage of the past; it is a heritage of the future.
It is no longer merely a vestige to be contemplated, but an act of transmission. The one who creates, collects or exhibits does not merely preserve: he or she builds what future generations will inherit.
It is today that we decide what will have value tomorrow. Ancient or contemporary, art acquires lasting meaning only if it is chosen, protected and transmitted.
Fragile by nature, it remains nonetheless one of the rare things capable of crossing time while carrying a true charge of meaning.
With Apsara, this is what I invite you to discover and to share.
