FAQ
Who is Ladda, and what is the story behind Apsara Art?
Ladda is a Thai collector and entrepreneur. For more than twenty years, she has travelled across Southeast Asia in search of artisans and traditional craftsmanship. She presents objects and furniture with ethnic and spiritual influences. Her collection brings together pieces rooted in Thai-Siamese, Shan, Karen, Khmer, Chinese, Hindu and other regional traditions, while keeping prices accessible, including for some one-of-a-kind pieces.
What can I find at the Apsara Art store (Furniture & Art)?
Apsara Art offers a wide selection of Asian art and furniture in a space of more than 4,800 m². You will find handcrafted furniture, Asian artworks, statues (some painted on site), Buddhist pieces, doors and arches, as well as interior and garden décor. Some pieces are antique, while others are contemporary. Many are unique or can be made to order. As part of our responsible approach, we only work with wood for which we have not commissioned the felling of trees.
Do you offer custom-made pieces?
Yes. Some creations can be made to order to suit your needs, using fine materials and carefully considered designs for indoor or outdoor spaces, homes or commercial settings.
Do you deliver furniture and artworks?
Yes, delivery is available. Details, including delivery times, fees and service areas, are provided at the time of purchase or upon request.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept common payment methods, including cash, bank cards and bank transfers. Details are confirmed at the time of purchase or reservation.
How are Apsara Art and La Table d’Apsara connected?
Apsara Art and La Table d’Apsara are part of the same world. The collection of ethnic and spiritual art sits alongside carefully prepared French and Thai cuisine. Together, they bring the beauty of forms, materials and flavours into a setting shaped by cultural heritage and hospitality.
What type of cuisine does La Table d’Apsara serve?
La Table d’Apsara serves entirely homemade Thai and French cuisine. Pizzas, snacks, coffee drinks and desserts are also available throughout the day. The French side of the menu has two complementary styles: a traditional selection and a more refined, delicate selection. The two sometimes come together, combining French techniques with Thai influences.
Are the artworks for sale?
Yes. A selection of works from the collection is available for purchase. Each piece is carefully chosen and may come with information about its origin and cultural context. Please contact us directly if you have a specific request.
Can I visit the gallery and dine at the restaurant?
Yes. La Table d’Apsara is designed so visitors can explore the collection while enjoying a meal. You can spend time with the artworks before or after dining, all within the same setting.
